• Thank you friends readers and passers-by for your continuous support to my blog. I will not be able to update often now and many articles and short story left hanging in the draft box due to the pressure of time lately but nevertheless I am trying to cope with it and will post few as time goes by.

Pleasant day and have a good life.

“The House of Joy”

Dear friends and readers,

This is a poem about unity, friendship and love. I do hope we are able to find peace in life with love and respect as the ingredients.

Good day

Sanaa 12/7/12

Let’s build a house together.
We’ll call it
Our “House of Joy.”
Capital, called willingness,
is in the vault
of our human heart.

We’ll buy the land,
which lies wherever our heart lies,
with this willingness.
We know the value
of this place and
place is all.

Then we’ll dig
the foundation.
We’ll dig out the guilt,
we’ll dig out the blame,
with a machine we call trust.

The stuff of this opening
–our mutual respect—
–our feelings of self-worth—
will form our relationship

The walls of this house
are our words
We’ll use only perfect
anointed words
uplifting words, inspiring words,
coming from our pure intent
to spread our joy.

The motor of these walls
is our humor.
We all share this
wonderful mortar.
Laughing in the love of Spirit,
we experience JOY!

We need lots of windows.
We’ll make these out of wisdom,
draped with the Mantle of God.
God, with the light of love,
streams in
and out these windows

Last part we built is the doors
Even with self-worth
—even with humor—
even with beautiful words
and wisdom,
we have to get in.

The key to these doors
of joy’s house
is our human intention to have
love enter our life.
Then we can laugh and have peace
and be happy with who we are?

“What?” You say. “No roof?”
No, it is not needed nor wanted.
Unlimited joy, and can never have a lid.
The lack of a roof in the House of Joy
opens our connection to God,
.. the overflow and inflowing power of joy…
such joy is the love of God.
