• Thank you friends readers and passers-by for your continuous support to my blog. I will not be able to update often now and many articles and short story left hanging in the draft box due to the pressure of time lately but nevertheless I am trying to cope with it and will post few as time goes by.

Pleasant day and have a good life.

“The Guiding”

Dear friends and readers,

I had a wonderful day today witnessing a matrimony of my uncle. A second marriage for the couple as both been married before. It is a very simple ceremony but meaningful because both the bride and groom willing to go through marriage once again. Both of them left bitterness of their experience behind. Witness by the two families, we offer our congratulations and with hope they will sail through in life with strength, happiness and joy till end of time.

As Harvey MacKay wrote

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t
own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it
you can never get it back.”

We have dealt with loss and lost before and I am sure every one of us take it differently. We accept our loss in different ways and we remember our loss in so many ways. Time has pass, without notice 100 days has gone since I first felt the loss. During those time I had friends around me giving me advice, comfort and by being with me all the time. Their advises taken and every word gave meaning to me now. I’ve accepted the loss and I am now leaving my comfort zone for a new life adventure because time will wait for no one.

“Acceptance means embracing what is, and not wishing for what is not. When we accept difficult realities, we are able to discover whatever positive feelings and experiences may be possible in that situation. We find ourselves more at peace and able to experience life more deeply. Even so, acceptance must be guided by discernment – learning how to tell the difference between what we can change and what we cannot.”

“Acceptance of our faults and the faults of others helps us to be patient and to avoid hurtful kinds of criticism or judgment. By accepting faults we become more able to trust and celebrate strengths. Paradoxically, acceptance often leads to growth because it creates a safe space for insight and understanding.”

In the quietest moments of nothingness
I sit in silence with an image of what is
In the farthest moments of quietness
I sit with feelings of you stood behind me
In the smallest moments of identity
I feel with one heart that clarity.
For with words we cloud
With minds we garner judgement
With actions we intensify
With acceptance we find
That still hand in the small of our back
Gently guiding, slowly pushing us ever forwards
Has remained a constant over time scapes
We may have ignored the callings of our Heart for many years
We may have drowned out the music of our souls for lifetimes
We may have censored ourselves through time
But when faced with the everlasting mirror
Showing all that is, could be and shall be
We have no alternative
Than to turn and face the bearer, the guide, the lover
And see who we Truly Are and Shall Be.
